Overview: The final phase of the Complete 540 / Triangle Expressway project from I-40 to U.S. 64/264 split into two sections. R-2829A spans from I-40/U.S. 70 to south of Rock Quarry Road. R-2829B spans from south of Rock Quarry Road to I-540/I-87/U.S. 64/264.
